Chicken Dijon Tidbits

Delicious breaded chicken bites made with dijon mustard

Ingredients

  • 1 Pound - Chicken breast, skinned, boned, and cut into ¾-inch cubes
  • ¼ Cup - Butter or margarine
  • 1 Tsp - Dijon mustard
  • 1 - Garlic clove, crushed
  • 1 Tbsp - Parsley, minced
  • ¼ Tsp - Lemon juice
  • ¼ Tsp - Salt
  • ½ Cup - Fine dry bread crumbs
  • ¼ Cup - Parmesan cheese (10 oz)

Instructions

  1. Cut the chicken breasts into ¾-inch cubes.
  2. In a medium skillet, melt the butter or margarine.
  3. Stir in the Dijon mustard, crushed garlic, parsley, lemon juice, and salt.
  4. Add the chicken cubes and sauté over medium heat for 5 to 10 minutes, turning the chicken until browned on all sides.
  5. Sprinkle with bread crumbs and Parmesan cheese.
  6. Toss until the chicken is evenly coated.
  7. Spoon the chicken tidbits into a flat serving dish.
  8. Serve as an appetizer, using small wooden or plastic picks.
